This 3days adventure safari gives you a test of Tanzanian wildlife. Witness Tanzania’s prime concentration of elephants at Tarangire national park, then get up close to one of Africa’s seven natural phaenomena – Ngorongoro crater, end up with the overview of Tanzania’s bird life and tree climbing lions at lake Manyara national park
Arrival Day
We will pick you up from Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will meet up our driver guide there for short briefing about your Safari. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the Hotel for your accommodation at the floor of Mountain Kilimanjaro & Meru.

Daily Itinerary Day 01
DAY 1: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, which is known for its huge baobab trees and large herds of elephants. Its sparse vegetation makes it a beautiful and special location, where up to 300 elephants can be found, looking for underground streams in the dry riverbeds. Migratory wildebeest, zebra and buffalo can also be seen crowding the shrinking lagoons. Here you will enjoy an afternoon game drive with a picnic lunch.

DAY 2: KARATU TO NGORONGORO CRATER
Today you’ll rise early in the morning to descend the 600m high walls to the floor of the crater and get up close with one of Africa’s seven natural wonders! Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is considered one of the most beautiful and unique places in Africa. Here you will find a haven of African wildlife and you might also be lucky enough to witness the endangered Rhino!

DAY 3: NGORONGORO CRATER TO LAKE MANYARA TO ARUSHA
In the morning, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, which is located within the Great Rift Valley. Lake Manyara boasts a spectacular setting, famous for its tree-climbing lions and soda-ash lake. The park also provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. The shores of the lake, encrusted with pink flamingo, attract more than 400 species of birds, many of them waterfowl or migrants. In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport.

Suggestions on things to bring
GENERAL SAFARI PACKING
- Bright summer clothes for safari tour (Strong colours can attract unwanted attention from flies found in certain areas of the parks). Laundry is cheap and available, so do not pack much in terms of clothes
- Fuller clothes for evenings at the hotel and lodge, such as long pants and long-sleeved shirts to protect you against mosquitoes after sunset and, if necessary, against the sun
- A jacket/sweater, as it can be cool in the early morning and evening
- Summer Footwear (e.g. sports shoes and cotton socks). Avoid walking on bare feet and or leaving your legs naked at night due to mosquitoes
- Power adapter with 3-4 sockets – this enables a shaver, trimmer, electric toothbrush and any batteries to be charged via a single adapter
- Small flashlight and extra batteries
- Hat that shields against the sun
- Sunscreen, sunglasses and lip balm
- A mosquito/insect repellent for example
- Nail clippers and file
- Personal medicine and toiletries
- Extra batteries for camera, recorder
- Bandanna
